Why Gramito

Tracking food shouldn't feel like data entry.

The usual way

  • Search a database, scroll, pick the closest match.
  • Guess grams, retype, repeat for every meal.
  • The habit fades because it is a chore.

With Gramito

  • Start from what you actually ate: a photo or a sentence.
  • Review the estimate, fix a number if it looks off, move on.
  • Your day, macros and weight in one view.
How it works

From plate to numbers in three steps.

  1. 01

    Snap it or say it

Take a photo of the plate, or just write what you had: “2 eggs and toast”. Dictation works too.

Gramito photo result: oatmeal with berries, 285 kcal with macros and composition
  2. 02

    Get an honest estimate

The AI proposes the dishes and an estimate of calories, protein, carbs and fat. Every value stays editable before it goes into your diary.

Gramito assistant chat: a meal described in one sentence and a proposed entry to add
  3. 03

    See your day

The ring fills, the macro bars grow and your weight trend builds up. You see where you are against your daily target at a glance.

Features

Everything you need, nothing you don't.

Photo to estimate

Point the camera at a meal. Gramito suggests what is on the plate and how much it might be worth.

A chat, not a form

Describe a meal the way you would tell a friend, in your language. Ask the assistant when you are unsure.

Macros at a glance

A calorie ring plus protein, carbs and fat bars, always against your own target.

Weight and progress

Log your weight and watch the trend on a clean chart instead of a single noisy number.

A diary by day

A week strip and a calendar to look back. Edit, copy or delete any entry.

Works without AI too

Food search, a barcode scanner and your own dishes need no AI at all.

A look inside

Calm, clear and made for one hand.

Real screenshots from the closed beta, in light and dark mode. Example data.

Straight talk

Estimates, not promises.

Numbers from a photo or a sentence are estimates. Portions are the hard part, so Gramito shows approximate values and lets you correct every one of them. It is a food diary, not a medical device, and nothing in it is medical advice.

Talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian before you change your diet, especially if you are pregnant, take medication or have had an eating disorder.

Read the medical notice

Your daily target

It is worked out from your profile and goal with the Mifflin–St Jeor formula, a standard published estimate. Formulas describe averages. Treat the result as a starting point.

FAQ

Good questions.

Can I download Gramito now?

Not yet. Gramito is in a closed beta for iPhone. Request an invite by e-mail and you will get a link to join through Apple TestFlight.

What does it cost?

There are no payments in the beta.

How accurate are the numbers?

They are estimates, and portion size is the hardest thing to judge from a picture. Check the values, correct them, and treat the result as a guide.

Do I have to use the AI?

No. Food search, the barcode scanner and your own dishes work without it. The AI is used only after you consent, and you can withdraw that at any time.

What happens to my photos and data?

They are stored on servers in the EU. You can export everything or delete your account in the app, and we do not sell your data.

Which languages are supported?

English, Russian, Ukrainian, Polish, Czech and Slovak.

Is this medical advice?

No. Gramito is a food diary. For questions about your health or diet, talk to a doctor or a registered dietitian.
